Water level control valve is a replacement for the old float valve. When the water level rises to the valve level,the water flow will automatically stop. When the water is below the valve level,the water will flow automatically to refill the water inside the water tank.

Auto function
The float valve automatically refills water for your water tank,water tower,livestock,animal water drinker when water drops below the valve level. Once it reaches the valve, it would automatically stop refilling water,so it will shut-off when the water reaches the internal float.
No electricity needed
A ball float valve inside allows water to flow until a specific level is reached. Once the water reaches this level, the float valve will be pushed up with water due to buoyancy and stop the flow of water. When the water level starts dropping, the valve will open again, and the water will start to flow again,so no need electricity.

This product is so simple in its design that it should win an award! I use it to refill my outdoor waterfall as needed because it loses water from splashing and evaporation. This unit provides a completely automated solution and with no electronics. Works perfectly day in and day out!

I hooked this up to my garden hose (had to use an adapter) and used a bucket to test it out. Bucket filled up but the valve didn't shut off. I found out that it just can't handle normal household water pressure through a 3/4" garden hose. If I turned the spigot to just barely open, it shuts off like it's supposed to when the bucket's full. Water full on, it never does. So it does work, but with a low pressure and/or low flow rate water supply. I can deal with that in my application, but be warned!

The valve turns the water on and off like it should. The box included some cheap teflon tape that wouldn't seal, throw that away and use some decent tape to seal it up.One star off because there is no way to use a wrench to tighten the threads. There is a nut on top, but it is used to hold the top cap on, not for tightening the threads. I had to hand-tighten it with 6 layers of PTFE tape to eliminate any leaks.
