Im a cake baker/decorator and these are some of the most beautiful cake boards I've ever used. They are very strong and look so pretty. The bottom is finished beautifully as well

This is a really good cake drum. It is thick, sturdy and well made. It held up well for the cake that I made and decorated for my husband. The cake lasted a few days and I stored it in a cake holder in the fridge and the drum was still in decent shape when all the cake was finally eaten. It is grease proof as the frosting did not stain it at all.

Not knocking the product, because the listing specifies that this is a 1-pack, but the picture makes it seem like you're getting more than that, so just be aware.I ordered the 12" cake drum because we bake a lot of tiered cakes for weddings/birthdays etc. and need the extra support that's not offered by the classic cardboard cake round that you can buy from walmart or hobby lobby. This is exactly what we need for those large cakes. It's extra sturdy and will allow you to maneuver the cake without fear of it breaking through. It's smooth and clean looking, exactly what you'd expect from a high end bakery. The only downside? They are PRICEY. $8 for ONE! Granted, they're pricey everywhere, and sometimes, you get what you pay for. I'd certainly consider other, less expensive options before buying this one again, but it is a very HIGH QUALITY cake drum.

I am an amateur baker who frequently gets asked by friends and family to make a cake for various special occasions from kids’ birthday parties to weddings. I have used cake rounds many times but they are much thinner. I like this cake drum because it is thick enough to support the weight of the bottom layer of cake with my hand underneath. This lets me place the cake exactly where I want it on the serving piece. It can also serve as the serving plate. It is a simple, shiny, white piece of cardboard that can go with most cakes especially if the cake and cake drum are the same size. This is a very convenient item to have especially with cakes for more formal occasions.

I was a little set back when I opened the package and there was only one single drum in the box. I was expecting a set of 6. So I looked at the advertisement again and looking at the picture it shows 6 drums, uses the plural "drums" and says 1 pack. Upon reading further down into the description it does say "pack of one" so I missed that, but I feel the headliner description was a little misleading. So with that said, the actual cake drum is very nice quality, but the price of $8.00 for just one drum is too high.

This is a pretty thick cake drum with a pretty design on top. Mine came with a few tiny dents on the bottom but the top seems fine. I think it will work well!
