These stainless reducing bushings are made from stainless forgings and machined to the appropriate thread. They fit well into standard female fittings and standard pipe nipples fit into them well. No complaints except that they come in an unnecessary vinyl pouch. Too much plastic in the landfills.

True stainless steel. Excellent durability and craftmanship. Shame that you even have to use it! Worked great in a situation where the 1" knockout was already open for a box and needed to transition to a 3/4" knockout a connected box. With there was three for the price though.

Ordered these: 1" NPT Male to 3/4" NPT Female Reducer Bushings - to use with a whole home water filter I am installing in the basement. The pipe is reduced to 3/4 inches where I can access it but the filter takes a 1 inch line. So these are exactly what I needed to adapt to my plumbing. They came in a brown box without any fanfare but I tested them on the filter and they fit well, becoming tight before they bottom out. Perfectly threaded and well machined. I would recommend these and am happy with the order.

I got these to add a pneumatic blow-out to my new irrigation system. I needed to adapt 3/4 NPT to 1/4 and these work great so far. Nicely machined stainless, should last forever.
