I was looking for an emergency road kit that would be really visible to keep in my RV and this set looked like a good fit. Well, it was even better than I originally thought because not only are the lights bright, they have multiple choices for light flash style and can be attached with a magnet right to the vehicle or have a hook to hang anywhere . The warning triangles open and set up easily and are plenty sturdy, increasing your visibility. I like that each set has a bag or case to keep everything neat in the trunk until you need it. Soooo, love the set and put one in my car and one in my RV. Only one downside, with 12 lights that each need 3 AAA batteries, it is a little pricey to fill them up! Hope they last in my trunk until I need them!

These are lifesaving. We broke down on the Turnpike at night and these worked perfectly to signal drivers to move over. Only downside? Batteries are NOT included ;( Still we Purchased multiple sets for all of our vehicles and the kids vehicles as too…

This product features 12 Strobe Lights housed in 2 separate bags that hold 6 lights each that have a Silicon rubberized grip that is firm to the touch and provides a comfortable grip to easily place this product in emergent circumstances. This product features a very strong magnet that should be capable of securing it to the side a magnetic surface and prevent it sliding down. A hook and loop is also kindly placed on this product to assist in hanging or angling the light if desired.In addition 2 Warning Triangles come with this kit each stored in a protective red plastic shell. Each Triangle is made from reflective plastic similar to reflective lamps found on vehicles tail lights or marker lights, the orange inside part of the triangle consists of fabric similar to the construction of a tarp. The storage box indicates these triangles should be placed 328 feet between each other (100m) placed behind the rear of a car. The reflective material only faces 1 direction, while the rear is not reflective.Product Dimensions. (Single Puck) 4" Wide x 1.25" Tall. (Storage Bag) 8.25" Wide x 4.75" Depth x 4.75" Tall. (Triangle Storage Box) 17.5" Wide x 2.25" Depth x 1.25" Tall.The storage bag is accessible by a zipper that is inadequately placed under the carrying handle, it likely will help keep the zipper safe from damage but it is also kind of a chore to open and take out the contents due to lack of space. The bag is made of similar canvas material used in the construction of many back packs, it is durable, water repellant, and not easy to tear or damage.The storage box for the Triangles indicate that they are made to European Safety Standard ECE R27, the only American standard requiring vehicles to carry them is for commercial vehicles, The safety standard is controlled by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration that states a minimum of 3 devices be it triangles, fuse flares, or burning flares to be placed 10 feet from the rear of a vehicle, and then 100ft there after, anytime when stopped on the shoulder of a road for more than 10 minutes. The standard states that 3 beacons must be bi-directional which the lights are but the triangles are not.

I try to keep emergency equipment in all my vehicles in case of…well an emergency. This is a 2 pack so it should go nicely in both my cars.Opening the box you find that there are 2 separate orange canvas bags that contain 6 of the Warning Beacons. In the box there are also 2 long plastic containers which store the Warning Triangles. There is also 1 small screw driver provided. Everything is compact and tidy enough to fit somewhere in your vehicle.The Warning Triangle is easy enough to set up and the design is pretty stable even in the wind. The visibility is great during the day and it also has reflectors for use at night. The reflectors are only on 1 side so be sure you set them up in the correct direction. Also, to use Warning Triangles you put them together first and then walk with them held in front of you to where you are setting them up.The Warning Beacons are mostly good. Each one uses 3 AAA Batteries for a total of 36 required batteries which are not included. So the batteries will add another 15 to 25 dollars to the price depending on which batteries you get. I personally do not have an issue with batteries not being included. When batteries are included with things they are typically the cheapest heavy duty batteries you can find. With emergency equipment I want to get batteries that I personally know I can count on not leaking while stored in the unit and lasting for a long time. The Beacons have several light modes and they are very visible at night and somewhat less during the day. 2 screws hold the cover on the beacon. You can gently use the handle to pull up the cover and I mean gently. If it wants to hang you can use a small screw driver, but I find the cover comes off pretty easy. Speaking of the handle, it works but is very weak so be careful using it. It will easily hold the weight of the Beacon, but don’t just go jerking it off whatever you have it attached to at the time. I have an older version of these Warning Beacons that have a robust waterproof rubber seal. This newer version has a very thin rubber seal that is not waterproof. I have tested it by splashing water on it in my sink and letting it sit for a few minutes in a very shallow pool of water only allowing the bottom to sit in the water with no immersion. After taking the unit apart I can see water droplets on the inside. Now to be fair the description does not say anything at all about any IP or IPX rating at all or any type of water resistance. I am only giving out the information so people know it is not waterproof. They would probably work fine in a wet environment and seem strongly made, but I would open them up and check them after usage in a wet environment. The magnets allow you to stick the Beacons on any metal surface and are pretty strong. Just be careful removing the Beacons when magnetically attached to something. I have had the magnet stay attached to the vehicle when I pulled the Beacon off. Luckily I noticed it later and found it still attached to the vehicle. If that happens it might be worth it to use a tiny bit of glue to hold it.So overall this is nice roadside emergency kit. I even take a Beacon when I go hiking, fishing, boating camping or biking. The Beacons are actually very versatile. Considering their task of being emergency equipment I have to take off 1 star for them not being waterproof or really resistant. Plus, the magnets are not fully attached to the Beacons with anything other than their own magnetic strength. Still, I would definitely recommend getting these for multiple situations.
