I have 40-50 similar binders from a dozen different sources in as many colors housing my very large photo and newspaper clippings collection. And I bought these "Professional D Ring Binders" (Cough, Cough) mostly to make my collection uniform in appearance on my shelves and so the document sleeves wouldn't slip out of the D rings. The plastic/vinyl that the covers are made from is very cheap, like the one's you would by at a dollar store it's baggy on the cardboard inner-panel rather than snuggly fitting like the "professional" ones you'd expect to buy from an office supply. All of office supply big-box stores closed in my area, so I decided to try these on Amazon- my bad! Even though these were discounted for the bulk quantity I bought, they were still over $8 each and the quality was inferior to that of a $2 binder; in fact, a few of the $2 ones I bought at the dollar store have better appearances than these do. The clear portion of the covers where you're supposed to be able to inset documents or a picture is cloudy on every binder and the "Clear" vinyl looked dirty right out of the box, whatever it is that is on them, it won't clean off. The rings themselves are sturdy I'll give them that, but they left indents in the covers that are permanent right out of the box. I'm very disappointed with the quality and there is sadly nothing "Professional" about them.
