These stocking holders are such a great idea - but in reality, they don't work nearly as well as you'd think. If you are hanging empty stockings, you should be all good. But if you are putting anything in the stockings, be VERY careful because even a little bit of weight will cause the plastic to crack. I think these would be way more functional and durable if they were metal.

I was not really impressed with the holders. They did not fit on my mantle very well. The stocking would fall off. It may just be my mantle but did not work for me.

If the material used to make these were of a higher quality construction, I think these would be stronger, the ones we received broke easily with very little weight, we are talking a thicker stocking.

These Christmas Stocking hooks do their job well! The acrylic material is thick and flexible so it does not break easily under pressure or weight. I like that they come with adhesive strips so that you can be sure they won't fall down once the stocking is attached. We used them hooked to our accent molding in order to hold 14 inch stockings.

The 12 Pcs Acrylic Christmas Stocking Holders had great potential with their sleek, transparent design and adjustable features, promising to fit various mantel styles without damaging surfaces. Unfortunately, the functionality fell far short of expectations.Even with empty stockings, these holders struggled to stay in place, frequently slipping off the mantel. This made them unreliable for holding even the lightest items, let alone stockings filled with gifts. The non-skid feature didn’t seem to make a significant difference, especially on smooth surfaces.While they look nice as a decorative addition, their inability to perform the primary task of securely holding stockings is a major letdown. These might work better for extremely lightweight decor, but they’re not suited for traditional stocking displays.I cannot recommend these for anyone looking for a sturdy and practical stocking hanger. They may need additional modifications or replacement to avoid holiday frustrations.

These hooks will definitely have many great uses - for now they are being used on the mantle for Christmas decorations but - they stay in place, don't damage the paint, and they are sturdy - not a flimsy plastic at all.

Order these to hang stockings for the first time! Unfortunately, im hanging my stockings on my stair banister and these do not work for it. First few pictures show the hooks on my fireplace mantle, they can’t be hung here due to we burn a real fire all winter.I think for the price and the amount you get this is a great option. You can use these as well to help hold garland in place.
