I purchased this item so I can have a since of peace while we go out and leave our chickens and roosters in confidence that they have enough water and food , No that’s not the case the items are so Flimsy, and cheep quality the water cups barely fill with water causing your chickens / rooster too desperately try to get water out of it and wind up breaking it water will empty the 5 gallon buckets instantly and if you’re gone for a day or so your chickens won’t have water so you constantly have to monitor walking around every two hours and make sure they have water. And the food buckets either too much food comes out and drains all on the ground or nothing comes out at all so this approach is very ineffective this is my experience definitely don’t recommend this product to nobody if you love your chicks.

These are great. They come with the drill bits. I used a cylinder of cardboard and made a concrete stand for the water cups in the 5 gallon bucket. I drilled my holes closer to the bottom. The concrete is 1/4 of an in. narrower than the 5 gallon bucket so it w9nt interfere with the cups.

HiPurchased this item to help with feeding and watering the keet fowl. The smaller birds were eating and drinking more so I wanted a way to increase their opportunities to feed. They were easy to use and installed in a 5 gallon bucket for extra water and feed. It was a perfect way to get the birds more water and feed at once and limit the number of times I had to feed and water them. Would recommend to others without restrictions. Great item.Thanks

The feeder parts were super easy to put in and work super well. The water parts though are horrible!!!Used the Teflon tape and the seals and everything,but the cup parts would just fall off when the chickens were drinking. The water would just pour out and make a mess. I took it apart and sanded parts and put more Teflon tape to hopefully hold better. Then used zip ties to help hold the cups in place. Still leaks!!!I am going to try and deal with silicone caulk next.Just don't bother buy the set of both. Just get the feeder parts separately. The water parts a just trash!

I was hoping they wouldn’t be able to waste as much feed but they still do. That’s not exactly on the product as much as it is on my chickens I suppose. It is nice having a big feeder and not having to feed them so much! I haven’t used the waters yet because they will freeze up but they look like they should work fine as long as they don’t leak.

If anyone is having problems with leaking waterers, old plastic tops breaking, running out of water when you want to take. Trip I say get these! I saved all my plastic kitty litter pails and put the feed and the water in them with these. They are the best thing I’ve ever bought. I did them myself with the drill and hole saw that came with the spouts all you need is a drill. I made them all in no time. MeVe the white rubber gasket on water spout on the outside of pail and they never leak. Babies can reach to drink big chickens drink and the feeders stayed filled while I was gone.
