The plates are tough plastic almost rubber. They bend easily and the print is well defined.

These were a nice addition to my art supplies. I like the variety of art patterns. I had no issues using them with my polymer clay and air dry clay.

The good: These texture mats are quality and easy to use. They're not flimsy, so designs come out cleanly.The bad: They do require a bit more finesse because the impressions aren't very deep. Also, I wish the designs went to the edges so I can repeat the design across larger areas.

The sheet designs are so shallow that barely any impressions are transferred to the clay. Such a disappointment as the designs are beautiful.
