Not only was the key slot too narrow. The bore was not 5/8. And it was a bit thicker than the stock 10 tooth. instead of the hassle of sending it back, I used my trusty dremel. I proceeded to "sand" the inside of the bore until it fit as the stock one did. Also had to file a little for the key to fit in the slot. A little more modification, and patience, to take it down to the width of original sprocket. It can be done! If you have time and patience. This was put on a mb200. I probably would not order this one again. As it was more time consuming than it should have been.

My God! I can’t believe the sheer quality of this sprocket. Not only is the axle fitment perfect, the teeth are precise and the finish has no blemishes or fading. I feel guilty for paying so little for it.

It's not a easy part to find, a twelve tooth 5/8" bore type C sprocket for a 420 chain. I am happy to get my hands on one, hence the four star rating. There is a serious problem with it though, and it takes some elbow grease to remedy. The bore is kind of rough, and this makes it undersized. You can't just ream it out though, because the key is cast into the bore. If it was a perfect fit, that would be kind of a good thing, but since the bore is small, the key being permanently cast into the bore makes it a tough job of filing it out to fit by hand. I suppose a machine shop could do it , for a price.
