This is acceptable for our prayer cabinet, which is also visible to guests, and useful in case of last rites... both my wife and I grew up with one of these on the wall and I don't know why it never occurred to me to give it as a gift to her - anniversary in this case. The corpus is plastic or resin but painted with relief lines so it matches the wood ("carved wood-like"), which I prefer to the metal castings. It's exactly as it looks in the picture but maybe a little lighter in color.This isn't fancy but is presentable enough for the price. Fill the holy water vials at your local Church.

Absolutely beautiful. I bought this for my daughter's confirmation gift and she fell in love with how nice it is. Looks amazing on the wall in her room.
