This felt is very manageable and it fully served my purposes, I used it as hair and beard for the dolls and the baby, also the amount that comes in the package is a lot, I only used the half of 2 colors. A very good product. I highly recommend for crafts.

Great color range for all sorts of little pet wool creations! The pack seems small but you get more than you realize in each individual color bundle of wool.

Really thick, nice quality wool. About the size of a baseball which isn't much depending on what hobby you have. For needle felting you have enough to make one small figure out of each ball while using some of the other colors for shading/tinting. Really good when getting started.

This is high quality wool that I found to dry felt up fast and luxurious looking. I agree with other reviewers that the names of the colors don't always seem to fit, specifically the "grey" colors. However, this didn't affect me as the colors shown in the picture were spot on with what I saw on my ipad screen. Don't forget though, that colors can look slightly different from screen to screen.You get .22 ounces of each color for 2 ounces per package. Each color is 12 inches long. Perfect for smaller projects and detailing.

Very high quality-- soft and beautifully colored. I bought a cheaper set at my local craft store and immediately noticed how coarse and dry it felt in comparison. It felt like I was ruining my project by adding the cheap, coarse wool to this soft, high quality one. Definitely worth it to invest in better quality if you can afford to buy it. I don't even want to felt with the other wool I bought locally,

I only recently learned about wet felting and needle felting. I had decided to try wet felting. I'm not very crafty at all so I decided to begin with the project that looked easiest. I chose felted soap. It turned out beautifully! And I'm sure that the reason for it going so well was because of the wool roving. The product arrived as pictured and as described. I expected some photography editing in the advertising and that the colors would not be as nice as they were in the photos. But the colors were exactly the same (bright and beautiful). The roving separated nicely, and evenly. And it seems to "felt" much more easily than I had expected. As I said, I am an extreme beginner, but this turned out beautifully. As for price, the one pack of neutral/natural colored wool roving was similar weight and only a couple of dollars cheaper. So I guess the price of this roving is on track.

I like the color assortment in this pack. I am new to felting, and it may be my inexperience, but I have had trouble getting the tightly packed, fine-textured felted look on little 3-D animals I have tried to make using soapy water and friction method, as seen in some of my illustrated felt crafting books, when using this wool. It is very fine and soft, and may be better suited to other types of projects such as needle felting on surface of flat objects.
