This 1/2" "Dewalt clone" brushless impact wrench is well designed, engineered, built with modern manufacturing techniques. It definitely has some power or kick to it. I used a clone Dewalt and Milwaukee battery to do a little "head to head" competition with this "Dewalt clone" and this one came out ahead by delivering more blows per second than the Milwaukee clone. They both have a power setting "1-2-3" so I put both on "3" to remove the lug nuts and then tighten them back down. They both exhibit the same power but this Dewalt clone is much faster and it obviously delivers more blows per second which is more audible/louder. I checked the torque of all lug nuts with my torque wrench set at 110 ft lbs. (149 NM) and they were all right at 110ftlbs so I did not have to turn the torque wrench more than a degree or two to reach 110 ft pounds. The included deep sockets were a good length so the battery end didn't hit the side of the tire or impede seating the socket on the lug nuts. The Milwaukee clone sockets were a bit shorter so that makes it harder to seat the socket on the lug nuts. I have a new favorite 1/2" anvil "Dewalt clone" impact wrench. So, this is a winner based on my initial testing and comparison to my other clone brand name impact wrench and it is a lot more powerful than the smaller 1/2" anvil impact wrenches I have used in the past. On the face of the owners manual it says it is a "random orbital buffer" which it clearly is not. Just a silly typo.

So far, I am truly impressed with this Vervewave Impact Driver (1/2 inch drive). I like that it feels hefty right from the start, especially a tool clearly designed to deal with larger nuts and bolts and more heavy duty projects. A lighter tool with this much torque will need more pressure and control from my hands and arms than a heavier tool. This larger driver also gives lots of spaces to take hold of the tool than many shorter drivers do. The tool looks and feels very solid and seems well made.As you can see in the pics, this driver has lots of punch to seat a nut or bolt where you want it to go. The nut I drove easily buried itself into the board with the bolt through it. 900 ft.-lbs is plenty of torque for most driver jobs. The tool comes with three power settings so you can control all of that punch. The bolt driven into the board was on the highest setting and took less than two seconds to go from start to buried in the board. This driver offers an o-ring and a pin to provide extra security for attaching the sockets that come with the tool. I did not use them at all and never once felt the socket was about to come loose. I also used multiple 1/2 inch standard sockets and also never experienced any hint of the socket coming unseated or falling off. It takes a bit of a push to click the sockets into place and a firm tug to remove them, but it is easily done and keeps everything in place. But the O-ring and pin are there for a reason. If you are going to do heavy, repetitive work with an impact wrench, the pin and O-ring offer a greater security and essentially eliminate the chance that the socket will slip or come off. Extra caution is always a good idea.I like the two work lights, bright enough to make a difference in lower light settings. The driver does indeed run on Dewalt 20V batteries as well as a couple of after market batteries that fit my Dewalt tools. So no problem there.Love the brushless drive; more power, less noise, less maintenance, longer life. For me, this Vervewave Impact Driver is an excellent tool and will do anything you would expect from a tool with this much power. How will it hold up? Only time will tell. If I experience any problems I’ll revise this review.I strongly recommend it!When in doubt, use a lower power setting. This much torque can twist off a bolt head or strip threads. You can damage your project and maybe be injured. Stay safe and have fun!

Better than expected, lot's of torque, not quite Milwaukee, but for the price, well worth it, so far...

I've only used this once so far but it seems strong enough for my needs and my dewalt battery fits perfectly. For the amount I will use this, the lower price more than makes up for it not being a dewalt branded tool.

This thing is HUGE! I have a dewalt dcf911 and it struggles to remove lugnuts. This thing does not struggle. It's also gigantic in comparison and more than twice the weight.Does that matter? To me, not really. I use it a couple times a week, it's fine. Im a diagnostic tech, not a tire guy. If I relied on this daily, it would be a bit much.Reverse has plenty of power. Forward on low is pretty light (this is good, I finish up with a torque wrench). Control is good, no wild spinning and the variable trigger works well. It's comfortable to hold. It feels cheaper than a real DeWalt, because at 1/4th the price, it's reasonable that it's going to be a bit coarser. All in all, this is weirdly good. It's totally a knockoff but knockoffs are getting better all the time.

This item is awesome! I had an extremely tight bolt that would not loosen, even with a foot long wrench extension, and this thing took less than a second to loosen it. Really well built. Great bargain. Happy to include it in the same drawer with my other original Dewalt tools. Get it before the Tariffs kick in!
