Granted I don't think they were advertised as transparent one, but you would think since they are sticky notes they would be transparent. They are still transparent to a point where I can read through them, but not as much as other ones I have bought. But I still like them.

I occasionally have to have up to 7 tabs reminding me of things I need for caser files. This is perfect! I made a cheat sheet with each one showing what color represented what. I love it!

I don't care too much for neon colors, but the book series I'm annotating is neon themed. These are great. Colors are neon but much more subtle.

So, most important to me is that they donโt damage the books and these donโt. They pull up easily from both paperback and more glossy pages. You can peel them up and reuse them multiple times. They do stick to the pages well, not sure why some reviews say they donโt. You can write on them with pencil or regular pen; gel pens, markers, or sharpie tend to smear though.As for the negatives, If you look at my photos you will notice 4 of the colors are quite opaque instead of transparent like the rest. They all are a bit harder to peel away only one at time from the backing page. They also donโt stick well on the backing page which seems to be construction paper.At a low price theyโll do, but they arenโt my favorite.
