Air filter was too tall. After attaching filter, the cover would not screw on. So just left it loosely sitting on top. Everything else worked fine.

This tune up kit works well for the Kohler CV13S (13 horsepower) engine, used in the John Deere LT133 38" Riding Mower. The only drawback is the air filter is too tall for the plastic air filter cover. The air filter in this kit will still work, however you cannot thread on the plastic cover. Instead install the foam air filter membrane and make sure the engine plastic cowling-cover is also in place.The spark plug should be gapped to spec (generally. 040").The oil filter is better quality than I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised.The overall quality is not original equipment ("OE"), however for an older "workhorse" mower, this tune up kit is a VERY good value. It promotes proper fuel-air-spark-lube for the Kohler CV13S (and similar) engine. It will help a smaller 13 horsepower engine run quite well. It will also immediately save on fuel consumption. That has been my observation. This is the type of bundled kit that absolutely must be fully replaced each season. Bear in mind that while it does provide real value and immediate increased performance, this tune up kit is not Original Equipment quality. It remains a good value. Your old workhorse engine will thank you.

I was initially happy with this kit. I replaced the fuel filter even though it did not need to be replaced. I filled the gas tank up and parked it in the shed. A week later I went to use and noted there was no gas in the tank. Not remembering that I had filled it up before, I proceeded to fill it again. Fuel came pouring out of the seam. Needless to say, fuel went everywhere. I had to purchase another fuel filter as I had discarded the old one. Upon inspection of the filter, I would say it is inferior. I just hope the other components don't breakdown quickly.3-1 UPDATE: Seller reached out to provide a partial refund to cover the cost of the defective item. They also said their QC department would be looking into the part issue.
