Definitely recommend when laying laminate flooring. Easy to use, read the directions! Must let dry for x minutes before laying laminate. Very sticky, does the job. Use sparingly.

The glue says it has a long set time (18 hours) and five days later it is still not set.

I used this for my first time ever laying down Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) in my relatively small kitchen. I dutifully followed the instructions (I think) and spread what I thought was a thin layer of the 430 product on about half of the floor with the required notched adhesive spreader. However, "thin layer" is not well-defined in the sparse instructions -- I downloaded the specifications sheet from the Henry website and everything -- and when the adhesive was not yet "tacky" after an extended curing period... Well, it was too late to do anything about that.I eventually let the 430 cure for about two and a half times the recommended 90 minute curing period, until it started to darken, then started laying down the tile. Due to the abundance of adhesive, the tiles simultaneously immediately stuck to the floor but also slipped around, resulting in some difficulty aligning the tiles to my intended design. Also, adhesive squished out between the tiles, leaving a big mess all over the newly-laid tiles and, over time, most of the rest of the kitchen floor. And me, and my glasses, and my arms and knees and shower and yeah...The good news is the results ended up being fine. Not perfect, but fine. However, when I went to finish the rest of the kitchen, I tried a new approach: Simply brush on a fine layer of the adhesive with a disposable foam paint brush, wait 30 minutes to cure, and lay down the tile. So much easier! Less work, less mess, less frustration, and the tiles are going nowhere! In the words of Elwood Blues: "This is glue. Strong stuff." I hope reading about my mistakes can help someone else avoid the same. Best of luck on your project!
