When the belt was applied, there was a squeal upon pull start… I ordered two belts. The first belt I put on really reeked havoc on the mower… I had to take off the belt before even using it for cutting properties..The second belt I had to immediately after start, engage the blades a full for 10 minutes.. finally the belt had stretched enough to where the mower could idle without the belt being too tight and-squealing.. I’m really disappointed the belt looks and feels robust. But the first one was a loss and a loss of my money. ,. We’ll see about the second belt and how long it stays in operation.
