I grabbed these on sale for less than $5 per block. For that price, I decided to get 2 sets. They all came with significant scratches (which makes me wonder about the hardness of the material). The surface grinder used to true them up must have had a coarse bench grinder wheel on it. To be sure, these blocks are 1 x 2 x 3". They are not 1.000 x 2.000 x 3.000" +/- acceptable tolerances.I will definitely not be using these for precision machining operations, but they'll be fine for welding set ups. For $5 each, you can't expect much more.
