Consider buying the 180 degree adapters for hdmi mini and usb c so that the cables fold neatly behind it. It's small and delicate so treat with care. Also, another reviewer mentioned the vesa screws go directly into the circuit board, so if you mount this, use short screws and don't hulk it.

3/30/2025 Will try not to go on&on about the thrill of experiencing such an incredible new technology that's totally available at more than a reasonable price point, finally!! Finally we can text away to grand kids with ease! Have a newer cell phone in the #1 USB port & older laptop in the #2 USB port. Will be sending these amazing devices to all grand kids this coming Xmas. Full volume sound has no distortion. Head Phone connector can be hooked up to externally powered desktop speakers (etc). Control buttons at side are NOT confusing on this product (Thank You). The L.E.D. image quality and clarity is hard to believe. Big fingers somehow work fine navigating the Desktop. Just hold 'finger-down' for any Right-Click Menu. Reduce screen res for easier Desktop navigating & then increase for amazing bright graphics from Laptops, PVR , Blu-ray Player or 35mm cameras with micro-HDMi out (etc.).Huge screen in the Family room is awesome for all of us of course. However, for myself, casually playing favorite music videos on the balcony is so significantly better than my older laptop in full daylight. This super hi-res LED screen looks to me like moving photographs somehow. Hard to describe actually. Could it be maybe, sometimes, smaller is better? Please read the included manual if not working on older laptops, etc. All essential cables required are included . However If you do not have an HDMi-out port from your older laptop then highly recommended is the BENFEI VGA to HDMI Adapter, an 'Amazon's Choice' product that ... also provides full stereo sound output via it's USB connector!! Under $20 & free shipping if you bundle it with one of these amazing Prechen Touch-Screens.Cheers!G.C.

My screen went black and would not display anything with any device, any configuration of cables or order of connection. It connects fine and the computer sees it as a monitor, but it will not display anything.I took it to a repair shop, and the design turns out to be terribly defective. The screw holes for the vesa mount are completely unprotected internally, and it doesn't come with any vesa hardware or any warning for how long the screws should be. So if you're using hardware from a standard vesa mount designed for a standard monitor, the screws will immediately destroy critical components of the screen with no prior tactile warning. Even if you managed not to damage anything with pressure and just touched it, it would short on the screw where it touches and brick the device anyway.(I used a hand screwdriver, very slowly, and I didn't feel it. The tech couldn't feel it either.)Awful defective design. It should not even have the mounting option. I understand cheaper products, but with such a poorly thought out error any user who tries to use the advertised vesa mount would reasonably ruin the device. Will definitely be returning.

I’m using this on a M4 Mac Mini. I bought a right angled HDMI adapter and a thin, flat USB-C cable to go with this. I’m using the threaded hole in the back to mount it to a pole with a smallrig clamp. This works amazingly well; it’s in the perfect position to tap on the screen and I can’t easily see the cables. The screen resolution and brightness are great. Setting this up to mirror the primary display works best if you’re using the touch capabilities. Nice-to-have improvements: Would be nice to be shipped with cables, buttons feel cheap, touch controls worked on the screen independently (rather than as an emulated mouse on the primary display). All-in: I’d buy this again.

ORIGINAL REVIEW AT THE BOTTOM.EDIT #3: So after the company reached out to me, I received a replacement quickly in just two days. I hooked everything up exactly the same and now it’s been working as it should. The first one I got was most definitely defective and that can happen with any product. I’m just overall really surprised by the great customer service from the seller to ensure I was happy. You don’t really see companies take care of their customers like this nowadays and for them to reach out and offer a replacement several months after purchase was surprising. Definitely recommend this now. You don’t have to worry about receiving a defective product with their great customer service to ensure you’re happy.EDIT #2: The company has reached out to me and has offered to send a new replacement, even after 5 months after purchase which was unexpected. I will edit the review again once I receive the new monitor and test it out again.EDIT #1: Troubleshooting on the next day, now it doesn’t work at all when re-plugging it in.All my cables are new with proper specs and connected tight. I mean, it worked fine for an hour so it shouldn’t be the cables. If you want to take the risk of wasting time and money on this, go ahead but I definitely don’t recommend it. I’m already out of the return period so I’m out of luck on that.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The monitor was fine for the hour or so that it worked. Using it just as an extra monitor for my PC, it looked great with nice clarity. But it all of sudden didn’t get any display. I’m using USB-C for power and HDMI for video signal. When I connect it, it shows a display for 1-2 seconds then disappears. I can still see the backlight on but no signal. If I disconnect and reconnect the USB-C it shows my display again for 1-2 seconds and disappears again.

Initial review: It's pretty good, the touch screen works, the image quality and sharpness is pretty high. But the colours are off at first and will require fiddling with windows and the settings on the monitor. The setup was simple, just google "how to connect second touch screen monitor" to find out how to set it up.My only real complain is that the USB-C port on my unit feels very sensitive/fragile, the slightest bump to the device will cause the touch screen to stop working and I need to unplug then plug the USB-C cable back in to get the touch screen function to work again.I feel like the touch screen feature will eventually fail to work because of the sensitive USB-C port.Only time will tell.Might update this review in a few years or months if it stopped working.

Ok. My first thought after getting this was to return it. I contacted "support" which was offered through Amazon which was a complete waste of time. Finally spent some time digging into the internet to figure out how to get things working. The video worked fine, but the touchscreen didn't work. The tiny user guide said that I had to connect a USB C AND the HDMI to get touch to work. I did that. None of my USB C ports on my docking station would make the full support USB C work (without connection HDMI also). I don't know if that's because my USB C ports are not the right version or if my cable just isn't adequate. I do know you must have the data quality cables and although I purchased those, I did buy them from Amazon, so don't know if my cables are actually capable of doing what they say they are.So. Did the two cable connect with HDMI and a USB C - USB A cable. That seemed to work with one quirky thing. I saw another reviewer mention this as well. Seems when you touch the screen it touches another display. So I could scroll on this little screen and it would scroll my main screen. That seems wrong. I did get one bit of helpful information. Go to Control Panel, Settings, Tablet Settings. Ok. But that didn't work either. When using Windows in Extended Display mode with more than one monitor. When you go to the Tablet set up screen, READ it completely. It said, "touch the screen". So I touched the monitor I wanted to be the touchscreen. That did not work. After another try I read the entire blub on the Microsoft screen. Seems you are not to touch the screen you want. Read the words. They appear on ONE monitor. If THAT IS the monitor you want to be the touchscreen, touch it. If not, follow the directions to get to the NEXT monitor screen. Eventually, you'll cycle to the one you wanted to be the touchscreen. THEN you TOUCH THAT ONE. And it worked.Would be nice if the user manual gave some clue as to how to set this up for Windows to work properly or had some support with FAQs. All I could find was, you need two cables. But that's not enough. The touchscreen will usually be wrong unless Windows miraculously put your monitors in the right order and associated the touchscreen properly, chances are that won't happen. So to the user who reviewed that the Windows touchscreen will control the wrong screen. That is true, until you go into the TABLET set up and change it. Then it works. So, now I'm kinda liking it. I set mine up in front of my keyboard with Winstep Nexus docks on it. I've created multiple docks on that app so this little 12" short monitor is like my launch pad for everything. Rather than having to use the windows start key and typing calc to start my calculator. Just touch it on that screen. Works quite well as a launcher.I did notice in the tiny user manual it says the product "shelf life" is 12 months. So I'm not sure how long this little guy will last being used every day. But his price was low enough that I'm willing to keep it.One other note. Since the cable ports are on the left side and that means now I have cables sticking out a few inches (because HDMI cables don't bend well), I ordered some 90 degree connectors for the HDMI. I couldn't find a 90 degree HDMI to mini HDMI. But did find plenty of HDMI/HDMI 90 degree connectors. So I'll just swap for a regular HDMI cable a short one that I ordered just for this and the 90 degree connector and I have lots of 90 degree USB C connectors (Thanks Amazon!) so that will tidy up my desk and not have those cables sticking out and taking up 2 - 3 inches of space. The monitor does come with a cheesy little stand. It does it's job. Not attractive, but allows me to angle the monitor. I might use a cell phone stand instead just because I have several of them that look better and allow for more positions.

I use this portable monitor as a second monitor for my sim rig. Display screen is beautiful and the touch feature also works great. It works perfectly for my needs. I use it as a Dashboard, GPS, Launcher or different menu depending on the games. This monitor complements the Stream deck very well. There are 2 ways you can mount this monitor (VESA or Standard 1/4 Thread size). One thing I must mentioned, the HDMI port on my unit is a full size port and not a Mini HDMI as in the description. I bought a 180 degree Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter at the same time with the unit only to find out it is full size HDMI. The monitor does not feel cheap at all. I might buy another monitor for a different purpose.Overall, I'm very satisfy with this monitor so far. I only have this monitor for a month, I will update this review if something goes wrong.
