This house number appears to be made out of a decent piece of metal -- it's relatively heavy and strong, it certainly isn't going to easily break or bend. It also arrives with the necessary screws and spaces for hanging it up, and since it uses a very simple design for hanging (just two screw holes straight through the metal) and comes with a lifesize template/drawing on the instructions for aligning the screws on the wall -- well, it's very very easy to install.The only potential downsides:- We'll have to see if the black paint starts to chip over time or if the metal starts to rust. But so far it seems great.- The font/style of the number is very distinct and may not be to everyone's taste or match with other numbers you might have on hand. (For instance, in my case, I only needed to replace a single number on my house, and I was thinking that any 12-inch black-metal #1 would be fine -- but when I placed this up against the other numbers on my house, even though this number was the same height and color -- the font just looked way too distinctively different from the other numbers to blend in smoothly. But I suppose that shouldn't be a problem for most people, assuming that typically one would be purchasing all of the numbers they needed from a single set like this, rather than trying to retroactively match against some existing numbers from a different brand).

Don’t recommend mixing and matching numbers- this is nice quality and looks easy to install.
