These shackles are nice quality. The casting is crisp and they are easy to screw on and off. They are functional for lifting things in the shop or home garage. I used these to lift an engine driven welding machine onto a truck. Held up just fine to a 1000lb load. The slings fit easily through. Overall a good value for nicely finished and powder coated pair of shackles.

Not something you can use to tow with like shown in the picture. These are WAY to small. I thought the 1/2" was the size of the shackle pin, it's the size of the whole shackle. WAY to small for any recovery work except for a 4 wheeler.

Quality made and finished solid steel D Ring shackles. They work well and are very durable, with a black painted finish. Good value.

The paint on these is nice, I didn't notice any markings from the powder coating process. I like the coloring. Initially I got these to help me with extending the safety chains on my trailer to better reach my pickup hitch, but then I just ended up getting new chains that were the correct length. However, these are still a valuable addition to my chain and towing collection, and we have a few chains without links hooks so this is going to help a lot. Quality seems superb and as advertised. Happy to recommend.

Wanted some D ring shackles for connecting various items together: lifting hooks, slip pully, and chains. I wanted pretty heavy duty D ring shackles because I'll be pulling out trees and in some cases an UTV. These D ring shackles support 2 tons, so should be able to handle everything I can throw at them. They are two colors, which for some reason I really like. Red is easy to find if you drop it in the woods. The coarse threaded bolt fits through one side and screws into the other side to provide a firm connection that is not going to come undone on its own. The threads are smooth and easy to tighten and undo. The bolt has a comfortable and wide area for screwing it into the clevis.I'm unclear about the "alloy steel" as described in the product detail image, which talks about a plastic spray coating, galvanized coating, and high strength steel sheet. I realized it makes is anti-rust, but it makes me wonder what they are talking about. It looks like a galvanized steel shackle with maybe a black plastic coating. Nothing like what their product detail describes. It actually looks much more impressive than they describe.These are really impressive and I am glad I bought these.

These are some high quality shackles! I was impressed with how much weight they had to them. They measure 3 inches by 3 inches and are rated for 2 Ton. These will come in handy!
