I wanted a plastic sugar bowl that I didn't have to fill every day. I have ceramic tile floor in my kitchen and have had my share of cleaning up broken glass. This is a good weight plastic but the cover is not the same weight and is a little loose on the bowl but all and all it's a great sugar bowl. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this to use as a Bath powder sponge holder. I didn't want to get glass because it's being used in the bathroom and I didn't want to run the risk of it falling and breaking. If this plastic were a little heavier I would have given it five stars. But all in all it works ok.
