The 5x barlow lens can be used well with nature and moon scene with my orion 4 inch reflector and 70 mm refractor even with low power objective (32 mm).

This works well with my 300mm focal length Refractor with 23mm eyepiece by increasing focal length to 1500, but is worthless with my 700mm Reflector. I use the x2 Barlow made by this same company for the Reflector.
