I bought this to use in the office during important meetings so that I can go back and review. I was amaze by just how easy it was to use. Once it's on my arm I can easily start and stop recording with a few taps. No long setup process, no syncing with an external device. Just tap and use. The audio quality was excellent and it did a great job of removing background noise.

I really liked the idea of something like this instead of using my phone to make voice recordings (solo personal use or for recording meetings) as this is more discrete. It has an easily accessible record button on the side, no need to swipe the screen to select options. The quality of the audio recorded is impressive given the size of the watch. It has a voice activated option for recordings but I haven’t really used that, I just press record when I need it to.It comes with a big storage capacity of 128GB, more than enough for days or months of recordings, depending on how often and for how long you use it. The battery capacity is 250mAh, which is good for 20 hours of continuous recording.My nitpick here is the kind of weird way you have to use the USB-C remote control to access the files or change the screen orientation and other settings. I don’t think this is very user-friendly. A “smart” watch recorder with a swipe screen to access the settings would be preferable.

The controls are simple to use, and because it’s also a watch, hides the fact that it is recording the various interactions. It easily hooks up to my laptop computer, so that I can edit the information that I’ve recorded. And the fact that it is also a watch, it provides me with the date, time, and power level. It was easy to set the time and date from there.Opinion: At first I didn't find the watch comfortable on my small wrist as the rectangular recorder part is about 4.1 cm x 1.9 cm x 0.5 cm. The band isn't like a usual watch band and is more of a rubbery feel with a pin that goes into the appropriate hole and snaps in. Eventually I was able to fasten it well enough, so now I hardly notice it on my wrist.The filenames are 14 digits long and are the date and time (yyyymmddhhmmss). For example, filename 20241112024950 is November 12, 2024 at 2:49:50am. The date modified is the end time of the voice clip. This makes it really easy to sort by date/time and find a particular clip.I thought my old keychain voice recorder was handy, but this one is even better! I can easily make a voice note to myself as I'm on a walk or driving in the car that I can refer back to later. Just flip the switch up to record and down to save (as long as the time is upright). It's also nice to have it as a watch with the date, day of the week and time. This I thought was a great tool for many things, but at the doctor’s office it failed me. I had it fully charged and everything I wanted to hear came through that day & all that I expected to hear AFTER me and my husband’s appt. Was NOT there! It showed it recording and then POOF, it only taped the nurse who came in, nothing more.I figured all was well for the entirety of the visit and beyond, but when I looked at this piece, somehow the full battery went out within an hour or close, and when trying to catch someone sus.. you can’t redo that so BIG disappointment for us here.For that reason alone, it was brand new & the issue so personally HUGE for our family, I cannot recommend this product. This is definitely a cool, convenient voice recorder that I've never seen anything like it before. The audio quality can be adjusted and can sound crisp. It has may functions. All of the buttons needed to perform every function are available. It's easy to use and very comfortable. Only problem is that the connection to the headphones is underneath the back of the recorder, which makes it awkward to wear. Other than that, it's great, and comes with everything needed.
