Absolute garbage. Worked the first time I used it, then stopped working after that. The one time it did work and I was able to playback my recording and hear it, the sound was terrible....it was pixilated and muffly. The magnet is also very weak, and the instructions are barely legible. Do yourself a favor and buy something else and save your money. This thing is junk!

I recently received the HEVAVW 128GB Magnetic Digital Voice Recorder, and I am thoroughly impressed! The massive storage capacity allows me to record hours upon hours of lectures and meetings without worrying about running out of space. The voice-activated feature is incredibly smart—it only records when there’s sound, saving both storage and time during playback. The AI-powered triple noise reduction works wonders, delivering crystal-clear audio even in noisy environments. I also love the magnetic design, which lets me easily attach the recorder to metal surfaces for hands-free use. Battery life is excellent, lasting through long sessions, and the device charges quickly. Overall, this recorder is intuitive, reliable, and perfect for students and professionals alike!

This is a handy little recorder. It's very small, but don't underestimate its power! It has a magnet that allows it to be attached to any metal surface. I've not had to charge the device, but it charges whenever connected to another device. The sound quality is one of the best I've heard. It's also versatile. You can manually record or set it to voice activated recording. This recorder can be connected to your smartphone or tablet and it doesn't discriminate. Apple and Android users alike can connect this device with the included adapter that converts the USB A to either USB C or lightening. This allows you to transfer your recording to the phone or transfer music from your phone to the device. It shows up as a USB storage drive in the phone/tablet's files. It also comes with a dongle controller with play, pause, rewind, and forward, as well as wired earphones that plug into the dongle. As if that weren't enough, it also connects to a Windows or Mac pc. I haven't tried it with a Mac, but it works on my Windows 10 pc with no problem. I haven't been able to get it to work with Windows 11. I even tried reformatting the drive (exFAT), but found out Windows 11 sometimes has issues with formatting exFAT. In my research, I found some saying they had no issues. That said, the customer service and tech support team is excellent! They worked with me to figure out the problem. Even though that part wasn't completely resolved, I give them an A+. They were kind, offered suggestions, and did everything in their power to make things right. I couldn't ask for more. Worse case scenario, I will use my phone as the go-between for my laptop to add music to the device. I highly recommend this device.

So far, this HEVAVW recorder has done exactly what I needed it to. The recordings have been clear, file transfers are quick and easy, and the voice activation works well (with a to-be-expected slightly delayed start.) It’s impressively compact—so compact, in fact, that I might actually say... it’s too small? (A sentence I never thought I’d type.)My only real complaint is the texture of the outer casing—it picks up every tiny bump or rub, and those sounds get amplified right into the recording. If you need to reposition or adjust it mid-recording, you’ll hear it. Loudly. That said, if you just hit record and don’t touch it, it performs really well.It’s a useful, easy-to-use tool with great battery life and storage, and the magnet mount is a nice bonus. Just let it sit quietly and it’ll do the same.

Tiny yet powerful high capacity voice recorder features 1500+ hour audio storage capacity combined with 40 hour battery life making it an awesome device for covert recordings. Easy one switch operation makes this recorder a breeze to use, the only trouble I had was the time and date stamp was wrong and needed to be set. While the manual gives instructions for setting the time for both IOS and windows I couldn’t figure out how to set the time on my iPad. I fired up my PC, plugged the recorder into a USB port, followed the instructions and setting the time and date was easy, almost automatic. Highly recommended!
