The distance for PVC pipes to fit into the fittings is sufficient to get a good grip on the pipe. Also the quality of the plastic looks good. I couldn't observe any defects. T-fittings with the 1/2" size are very useful for constructing projects, due to how much easier 1/2" bends over 3/4". I'm very pleased with them and believe they're a great deal.
