These are crap. The black circle just broke. They say it holds 30 lb, it didn't hold 8 lb for 3 weeks. I went to the product support to complain about it and they sent me to the manufacturer website and my virus software indicated a malicious website so obviously I didn't go any farther. These are crap.

Do yourself a favor and either drill these or get better curtain hangers that you can drill into. These will hold some paper at best but certainly not full curtains - even on a smooth wall surface

My walls are hard to drill. I live in a coop with metal behind where I wanted to place curtains. This made it possible to place curtains. I love it. Very sturdy.

I really wanted to love these, but I couldn’t seem to get the adhesive to stick quite right. The first time I tried hanging my curtain rod, it pulled the paint off my ceiling.The second go around, I applied the adhesive and allowed it to set for 24 hours before hanging my curtain rod, which ended up holding great. I decided to go a different direction with my curtains/blinds so decided I’d take them down, which resulted in more paint ripping off the ceiling. These will damage the walls when you remove them, but other than that if you follow the packaging and wait a day to put any weight on the mount they do hold their weight. Very difficult to remove though.

Installation was very easy to do: peel, stick, and press. They are holding up well and feel sturdy, which I like since I have thicker curtains.One thing to point out is to make sure the surface is clean and smooth for it to really stick; otherwise, over time, it can start peeling off. I found it stuck better by pressing down firmly and waiting a day before hanging anything.
