These air fryer magnets are a simple and handy item that I didn't know existed, or that I even might want, until I saw them on the YouTube channel of my favorite Air Fryer reviewer and cook. Now that I've learned about using paper air fryer liners or foil liners on top of or underneath the crisping pan of my air fryer, I get it.For people who use liners on the TOP of their crisper pan, you do have to remember NOT to preheat your air fryer unless you have food inside of your liners ... to keep the liners from blowing up into the heating element and fan of the air fryer. Or ... just use these magnets, and you can keep the liners in place while the air fryer is pre-heating.As for me, I'm not a fan of cleaning up a bigger mess than absolutely necessary. So I often use paper or foil liners UNDER the crisping pan on my air fryer. The magnets keep the top edges of the liners fastened to the sides of my air fryer, so I can put the crisping pan into the drawer of the air fryer without scrunching down the liners. And, when I put my food onto the crisping pan, the magnets keep the top edges of the liners fastened to the sides of my air fryer, which allows the actual cooking air to circulate around my FOOD, rather than down the edges of the liners to the bottom of the air fryer, and NOT on my food. This Amazon description says that these magnets will resist cooking temperatures of up to 464 degrees F, which hotter than my 450 degree F. air fryer will cook. I don't that often even cook at 450 degrees, and, if I do, it's not for a long period of time. So, at least with my high-temperature cooking, these magnets work just fine. The magnets are easily moved around and adjusted for your particular air fryer. They're easily cleaned and stored. And, remember, they're magnets, so they need a surface with enough iron in them to actually adhere to. The work just fine on my Cosori air fryer. Some air fryers now have ceramic baskets, I don't know if there's enough iron in those baskets to use magnets with, so be sure and check your own air fryer basket, first.

These magnets are an essential item for using parchment in air fryers. The biggest drawback to using air fryers I've found is clean-up. The basket, base plate, or wire rack is either greasy or food is stuck to it. Parchment eliminates almost all clean-up, there might be a few spatters on surfaces not covered. The rub with using parchment is it will blow around if not anchored down with the weight of food. These magnets worked perfectly holding the parchment in place. The magnets are very strong and the paper showed no pulling out. With magnets securing the parchment you can make small quantities in a large air fryer and not be concerned about placement of food to weigh down the parchment. You can also preheat with the parchment in place before food is added. The only drawback I found is in using steel tongs to flip food over, if I get the tongs too close to the magnets, they will "grab" and attach. I will switch from steel tongs to wood chopsticks to flip food over. I have to look for non-magnetic tongs.

Until I saw these I had no idea there was such a thing as air fryer magnets. But it makes so much sense! I use two different types of liners in my air fryer and you have to be careful how to use them. First, it's really important to put food on top of them so they don't blow into the heat source and catch fire. Then putting the liner in a pre-heated air fryer is either challenging with oven mitts or dangerous to your bare fingers. These magnets, with just a little bit of care, hold the paper liners in place better than a full basket of french fries. Those tiny magnets work great on the rack and the longer magnets will just snap the pleated paper into the crisper tray. If you're going to heat up the air fryer with the parchment but no food (not "officially" recommended), another magnet in the middle of the paper keeps it from puffing up.These magnets are quite powerful and if you put them near each other they will snap together. They come with a little case but it's a no-brainer to just stick them to the refrigerator, a microwave or almost any ferrous-containing object. If you use paper liners to help keep your air fryer clean, I highly recommend these magnets. And if don't need them all for your air fryer, they make strong and handy refrigerator magnets.

Have you ever thought: what a unique problem, I wonder if there's a fix for that? Well, this is one of those problems. I use liners in my air fryer to keep the mess to a minimum but they tend to want to blow down an cover the food. Then I saw theseSo simple in concept but just what I need! I tried them out immediately. They do keep the paper liner firmly secured to the basket. I don't have to worry about my food getting covered up or the liner going into the heating coils.I was heating at 385⁰ for about 5 minutes, just long enough to melt some cheese. They appeared to bubble up a bit on the side that wasn't attached to the basket. Once they cooled, they went back to flat. As there wasn't any literature included with the package, I don't know if this is normal. I have to assume it is. One other interesting tidbit is that they will be hot thereby making it difficult to remove the food on the paper liner. I've developed "asbestos fingers" over the years so I can withstand pretty hot temps but I wanted to warn folks. You may need to use tongs or something to remove the magnets if you want to lift the liner out with the food. They do solve an issue I wasn't expecting to be solved though.
