I bought these to terminate ribbon cables into connectors, as part of an cable manufacturing jig. These actually get the job done as is, but we replaced the threaded piece with a matching thread screw that has a larger rubber pad and that has accelerated the process. They are very sturdy and have held up well with constant repetitive use.
