I ordered this heat activated vinyl to use with my Cricut products. The vinyl came well packaged and was easy to unpackage and use with Cricut Maker 4 and Cricut Easypress 3 products that I own.I found the quality of this vinyl product on par with the genuine factory Cricut vinyl and had no issues cutting, weeding, or heat applying of this product to the surface of interest. I have not had this installed long enough on my projects to comment on the overall robustness or color fastness after wearing, using or cleaning of the product but will definitely update this review if there are any issues that arise in that particular area.Overall, this seems to be a good quality solution if you choose to go with a third party supplier of heat activated vinyl. I hope that my review will help you determine if this is appropriate for your application. Thanks for reading!

I’ll post an update after I’ve used this to show how the puffed look comes out. The product logo sheet doesn’t say anything about it being puff vinyl but the smaller sticker does (just fyi in case you think you’ve been sent the wrong thing at first glance). The colors are basic but vibrant. The directions seem pretty clear but if there’s a learning curve I’ll include that in my update as well. It looks like it will be a good product and I’m excited to try it out.

I make a lot of iron on t-shirts for my grandkids with my Cricut, so I’m always looking for ways to add a little fun touch to their shirts. I’d never used puff vinyl, so I couldn’t wait to give it a try. This set had a great variety of colors to play with. And it cut and weeded like a dream - SUPER easy to weed! Yay! I knew it would (or at least should) puff, but I didn’t realize just how much it would! I thought I picked a fairly simple shape to use, but it almost puffed too much for this project. My fault, not the vinyl! I have an HTVRONT automatic heat press and I hate when they give a range of temperatures, so I went with 290 degrees for 15 seconds. I think next time I’ll try 285 as it came out really textured looking and I read that too high heat causes that. Hopefully it launders well. Overall I’m happy with it and it will be fun to try and do more projects with it. The price is reasonably so I’m not paranoid about wasting it.

This HTVJOYDO Puff Heat Transfer Vinyl comes with 12 sheets in colours of rose red, orange, yellow, green, light pink, purple, black, neon orange, red, white, royal blue and light blue. Each sheet measures 12 x 10 inches and can be used with Cricut and Cameo cutting machines. The vinyl is very easy to work with. From cutting, to weeding, to pressing and to the final product the material was a pleasure to work with.As per the instructions I pressed the vinyl at 285 degrees for 15 seconds. They give you a range of 284-293 degrees for 10-15 seconds and to them hot peel. I was happy with my results and feel that it pressed beautifully on my 100% cotton t-shirt.As with all puff vinyl it is important to have a heat press that has BOTH consistent temperature and firm even pressure at all times. When you do not have the firm even pressure the pattern will look ‘wormy’ and not properly/evenly puffed. I have seen many struggle with the material. 😢The packaging is confusing as it does not say ‘puff vinyl’ and I thought that I was sent the wrong heat transfer vinyl. It would be nice to have the manufacturer add the words puff vinyl to the packaging. For the price of $12.99 for 12 12 x 10 sheets I think this is a good deal that you can get a lot of projects from!4 1/2 stars!

POP goes your embroidery with this PUFF VINYL! When I saw this, I knew I had to try it with my embroidery designs! I cut a rectangle of puff vinyl and attached it to a thin piece of cotton by following the included instructions. The setting suggested by Alexa for 284 degrees on an iron was wool, so that's what I used. It says 15 seconds of pressure but because I used my iron instead of the heat press, I had to make a couple more passes to get it to puff up completely. The transfer paper came off cleanly and the vinyl adhered tightly to the cotton. I used the vinyl like I would any other applique fabric. It was easy to trim with my embroidery scissors and the machine stitched through the vinyl with no issues! The texture of the vinyl gives off a chenille like look without the fluff. I'm very pleased with the loft of the finished design and can't wait to try it with more of my projects!!

This puff vinyl is easy to cut and to weed. My only complaints is that it did not puff up evenly, I had a few spots that did not puff up at all, the puff feature ruins any details or smaller lettering (this is really only for large, simple, font), and when I decided I didn't love the design- I was able to pull off the puff lettering almost completely. That doesn't make me believe the vinyl would hold up over time.

I have never worked with puff heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and I wanted to find out what it was like. This set comes with 12 different colors of 10" x 12" pieces of puff HTV. The material looks very much like regular HTV before heating, so I recommend keeping it separate from regular HTV to ensure you only use it when intending to use puff HTV.My Cricut Joy easily cut the material using regular HTV settings. It was very easy to weed and the cutting came out perfectly. I pressed it onto t-shirt material using the recommended heat settings (284 - 293°F, 13 - 17 seconds) on my heat press. The material fluffed up nicely with an interesting texture that was clearly visible from a distance. This will be fun to use for projects that need to have some texture added to them. The variety of colors in the package ensures that I'll have a good selection of puff colors to choose from for future projects.
