The very 1st time it rained on the dash of my boat the switch stuck in an on position shorted out. Never got to actually use this in the dark. Took apart the switch to dry it out and no luck. I will say however that the seller read my review, I didn't message them after this happened assuming it was just Chinese junk and it was just a lesson learned. They reached out to me and made every attempt to make it right. They are sending me a new switch board which will fix my problem. I think it should handle rain better due to advertising marine use but I will also try to protect it more. Anyway although I'm not impressed with the light I very impressed with the seller so I am upping my rating of the product

The main description says LED but on the specs it says halogen Xenon bulb. Is this an LED light or a halogen bulb

hooked up the lamp to a 12v power supplyvery cool to see the lamp move with a simple 4-directional touch padhowever one direction (down) did not operate resulting in a lamp that was stuck in the highest positionrequested return and was asked to pay for return shipment - a bit strange for an item that arrived defectiveUpdate: Item was returned weeks ago - still no refund - pretty disappointing purchase
