Working principle
There is no need to start the engine. After the combustion air sucked from the environment and the diesel oil sucked from the fuel tank are mixed in the combustion chamber, the heat generated by the combustion is conducted through the aluminum shell, and then the hot air is blown into the heated space by the fan to make the ambient temperature comfortable temperature. Stand-alone use when parking is possible

Bench tested it last night and I have to say that we are very pleased with it. Very quiet fuel pump with this unit also.

The install on this was a nightmare to figure out, took me forever, the chinesium instructions they give you are a joke. Knowing how this install went, I would not buy this again. I would go for the complete, self contained diesel heaters that are an all in one unit. 3 stars only due to after figuring out the install, it produces great heat.

The heater worked great, until it didnt. It started smelling like rubber, and threw an error code that was not in the manual. Fine, but the customer service continues to dodge responsibility and refuses to help me fix it. Go for something better like vevor, because this one will probably work, but you dont want to be in my situation if it doesnt

Pros.......works just as good as other $100 versions.This 1 has the 6 key display,less fine tuning available but easy to operate.Rubber pump isolator makes pump quiter than most others.Cons.....comes with the green fuel line everyone says to replace,and all clamps are cheap......but your only paying $100 or less.And mine had the black wire on main harness for controller damaged.wire wont stay in untill i jammed a tooth pick in there for now.On first startup after a few mins i grabbed controller and lost power to controller,and it shutoff glow plug,white smoke poured out as fuel pump continued to run ,then fan shutoff.I had to disconnect from battery and hook back up to get that fan back running asap before a meltdown.This is dangerous on these units as there has to be a cool down cycle to shut down.If you dont go thru the cycle the housing can overheat and destroy the heater,even worse a fire.So check every wire before use.This can happen on any cheap heater.With that said i gave it 4 stars fir its performance,lots of heat and cheap to run.I have about 10 hrs on this 1,no issues except the wire.I thought about only giving 2 stars because of this wire.....but honestly this is a good unit for the price and its upto the user to check out everything befire powering up.

Heater came in with a cracked fuel filter, incorrect fuel line size, that will not fit on heater, filter or pump. You will need to order a replacement fuel line and filter setup. The listing picture shows the white PVC fuel line but came with the cheap green one that kinks. I should have hooked up everything and tested the fit and function before installing it into my van, before I cut holes in the floor.
