I often purchase this type of bayonet style led bulb for sewing machines, and mistakenly purchased these (which only work with 12 volts DC). Fortunately, I have an older car in which I can use them. They should lessen battery load. Plenty of light.

These light bulbs are bit expensive at around $3 each. But their build quality is a lot better than the less expensive bulbs I have purchased. The LEDs look more robust. And the LEDs are enclosed in glass or some type of high quality clear plastic. The less expensive bulbs have the LEDs exposed with no enclosure. Does this matter when the bulb is inside a light fixture inside my RV? I don’t know. I guess it would make a difference in a lamp where the bulb is somewhat visible. Or in an outside installation in an RV porch light or something. But I suspect it makes no impact inside an RV ceiling light fixture. Regardless these bulbs are solid and light up well. Just beware that these bulbs have the bayonet mount with the two contacts on the bottom. So be sure that is what you are replacing.
