The green means it's done charging. Off or is only green or doesn't light up, that means your equipment has a problem!Check the specs!!I used this for A power wheels charger! It worked great! However our neighbors power wheel ATV has different specs and it doesn't work for theirs. The light just stays green. Meaning this charger cannot charge whatever it use plugged up to.

Works excellent. I lost the charger to my sons powrrwheel that was also purchased on Amazon one of those ones that has a remote control so you can drive it for them. And before buying this charger I bought a cheaper one which didn't end up working. This one was $8 more than the previous one I purchased but it charged my sons powerwheel and he was so happy.Easy to read too light starts off red and when powerwheel is fully charged light turned green.
