Solved our cooling problem in the RV fridge. Tendencies to over stuff the fridge was solved.

This replaced our old RV fan I installed years ago. The various speeds, ease of installation, size, airflow and lack of noise have all been great pluses. We've had it for two years or so and kick it up to full when traveling or in the sun, then put it on low speed when parked and in the shade or the awning is out. Easy to control and very functional, it has been a great value for our money and very reliable. Definately would buy it again!

What fabulous thing! Our RV fridge (15 years old) it iced up, never stayed cool enough no matter what we did to stop food from going bad!I did the install myself with the help of watching a few different online videos. ( guess I’m now YouTube certified lol)This moves the air off the cooler fins and now no more meat spoilage. I was able to turn the fridge down from highest to lowest.I’ve had it now for 2 months. If it goes bad, I’ll get another one immediately. No older RV fridge should be without one

I followed the installation instructions per the manufactures recommendations, wiring it to the light located inside the refrigerator, the fan came on fine. That being said; it also instantly fried the main electronic control board that operates the refrigerator! The fan was still running. DO NOT wire this unit to a refrigerator that has an electronic control board!!! BAD INSTRUCTIONS!

I bought this to install in my RV and have used it on a few trips. In the reviews people seem to have amazing results with it. I don’t know if I notice that much of a difference. If I noticed anything maybe a more evenness of cooling of the stuff in the fridge. It’s very hard to tell but maybe it did make a difference. The fans blow but don’t really seem to create that that much air. Maybe it’s enough to do what it needs to do.

We have had this for one summer now. We were pleasantly surprised how much difference it made and found it was effective enough on low speed. We primarily boondock, so the low power consumption matters for us, and on low speed it is quiet enough that we don't hear it.I had no real problem tapping the 12V feed for the interior light, but that might be harder for someone without suitable tools. Running a wire out through the condensate drain is another way to tap into 12V.

Used in RV refrigerator. Can be hooked to light but hard to find a ground. There are other fans that are easier to install.

Received In A Timely Manner. Read The Instructions Which Are Pretty Much Elementary For Me. If You Are Mechanically Inclined And Use Google For Videos It's A Cakewalk To Install. I Installed A Low Budget Thermostat In The Past For More Control Of Temperature But It Didn't Really Control As I Was Hoping. I Bit The Bullet And Purchased This Fan Set-up After Researching And Reviews. This Setup Actually Controlled The Temp Beyond My Belief. I Put A 1 Gallon Jug Of Water In The Compartment And Ran The Fridge For 3 Days At The House And It Kept The Temp Right At 35 Deg. I'm Impressed But Will Wait Until Next Camping Trip With Texas Temperatures. I Guess My Cheesy Thermostat Just Needed Help. Would Highly Recommend If It Holds Up In The Heat And Loading Up With Food.
