Wow, I love this 12V vacuum pump! I work on old cars and most older cars rely on vacuum to operate critical systems. Vacuum leaks can play havoc with various components such as HVAC control flaps, air control valves, fuel pressure regulators, etc. Finding vacuum leaks is a challenge. This little vacuum pump operates on standard 12V power so it can rin off of a cigarette lighter socket or clamped to a car jump post. It’s very quiet while running. I used this pump to draw a vacuum to operate climate flap actuators without the need to run the engine. This pump is a great addition to my automotive tool kit. I wired the power cord to a cigarette lighter plug. Alternatively, use alligator clips. Recommended.
