First off, make sure you double check any connections that have been factory assembled. One of the hose clamps on this unit was defective and even though the worm screw seemed tight, the clamp itself was loose and so was the hose. Would have had a bad leak had I not noticed. Other than that small issue this gas caddy is perfect for boat docks or keeping your lawn equipment and toys fueled up. Best on paved or smooth surfaces. Rough ground is very slow going as far as rolling it around goes. Bigger tires would have been useful. As far as pumping fuel goes, this is not like a standard gasoline pump at a filling station. It is fairly slow but, it still beats the heck out of lifting 5 gallon cans. Spilling fuel is almost a thing of the past with this setup. Overall not perfect but, still a pretty good deal for its ease of use.

Edit: My original review is below, but I've since discovered it leaks from multiple places around the pump if you fill it at all more than halfway. Tried putting in some o-rings, tightening all the valves and seals, but no dice. Given the high amount of leakage I can't recommend this - basically unusable with the pump attached due to quality issues related to that seal.Given the nature of this and the safety implications of quality lapses, I wanted to make sure I took my time reviewing this. After a few weeks storing and pumping gasoline with this, though, I gotta say this is a massive upgrade over any plastic gas can I've owned and certainly easier to use than a metal jerry can. I was very pleased. It's made in China, obviously, but the pump that comes with it works very well - I've run it off a car, off a motorcycle, off a spare 12V motorcycle battery I had that wasn't actually in a motorcycle at the time, hell even off a 12V solar panel. In all cases it ran quickly, gave good pressure, and the ability to reverse the flow via the three-way switch is a welcome feature. The fittings do leak a little, but nowhere near as much as my 'safety can' which I had previously for this purpose (it was anything but that). What would happen is I would turn on the pump, it would pressurize the system so that fuel would come up into the tube to the nozzle, and then leak around where the nozzle tube connected to the pump as soon as I turned off the pump. I tried tightening the fittings to no avail - eventually what I would do is run the pump in reverse to empty out the hose to the nozzle, then crack the fill cap to depressurize the system a little bit (otherwise pressure would force fuel a little bit into the hose again as soon as I turned off the pump). This didn't completely stop the leaking, but keeping the fill hose empty when not in use got the worst of it. There was no leaking at the nozzle end, which is actually a pretty nice device - it even has a flip-down lever to keep the handle squeezed for continuous filling like your pump handle at the gas station. No problems with that. There's a generous length of tubing to ensure you can reach what you're fueling, and a little flat metal hook to roll up the tubing around for storage. The instructions are pretty poorly translated, so you're left with common sense to fill in the gaps. What's called the 'oil outlet' in the product pictures, for example, means where your fuel comes out of the container to be drawn into the hose by the pump (it's very low to make sure you can get the dregs). The third cable/clamp (yellow) coming off the pump is a grounding wire to reduce the risk of a spark causing a fire. I would recommend you use this whenever possible, having seen somebody inadvertently light a fire off static electricity before. The pressure relief valve in the fill cap can be adjusted with the screw there. The hard plastic wheels and rolling-luggage-style handle on the back make this pretty easy to get around to where you need it, and the plastic handle molded into the top is a little sturdier for lifting it into a truck bed or trailer. I was a little nervous about the pump hookup, but it has a very generous amount of cabling to run to your power source so that you don't have that too close to any potential fumes. When completely full this is quite heavy, so plan ahead. But 13 gals seems like a good amount; you could almost completely fill your average car tank with that, most mid-sized generators, and definitely completely top off a motorcycle or four-wheeler tank without issue. I have found this to be really useful for yard work, recreational purposes and general emergency use, and well worth the asking price if you hate the modern 'safety can' style containers that leak constantly and are hard to use without extensive modification. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

The 13 Gallon Fuel Caddy by TRUPOW, is a great helper fuel transfers, that’s easy to use and performs wonderful. The gas can is thick and durable. The pump is a bit generic and loud, but it has worked great and beats a manual one. I love having the nozzle that makes it so easy and spill proof. It’s ease to roll on hard surfaces and makes moving the full weight simple. It’s fairly large in size, but otherwise you couldn’t hold 13 gallons.Overall, this has been very useful with good quality and performance, saving me a bunch of time and effort. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

This thing is awesome. I love the metal spout and the fact that you can reverse the pump. I use it to fill my boat and the cord is long enough to hook up to the boat batteries and let it rip. I was so glad to see you can lock the fill nozzle in the on position and just hold it in place. It’s a nice break for your grip! The pump is pretty quiet and it only took a few minutes to pump it all into my boat. The tank dolly handle is a little cheap but it gets the job done. Overall I’m very pleased!

Never know when you're going to need an emergency stockpile of gasoline for a generator or otherwise. Great purchase to keep it fresh for as long as possible.
