This trashcan looks good and works great. It is very quiet and we love being able to plug it in instead of having to buy batteries.

We have had now two of these over the years. What I really like is the ability to plug it in vs having to put batteries. Only thing I’d like to see is something a little easier to clean. but I still highly recommend.

Review: I recently purchased the SensorCan, and overall, I am very impressed with it. The hands-free feature works smoothly—wave your hand, and the lid opens quickly, making it super convenient when your hands are full or messy. The design is sleek and modern, fitting well in my kitchen. The capacity is perfect for my household, and the motion sensor responds well. It’s also fairly quiet when it opens and closes, which is nice. The only slight downside is that the lid sometimes doesn't stay open long enough when I'm discarding larger items, but that's a minor inconvenience.Overall, the SensorCan has made kitchen cleanup more hygienic and convenient, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, touchless trash can solution!

I purchased a round SensorCan (itouchless) about 10 years ago and I believe it served us well. My grands named it Trashy. I only went through two sets of batteries that whole time. Finally, the lid quit working. So I just had to have another as I love that one doesn’t have to touch it with dirty hands to throw garbage in. This time, I got the oval shaped 13 gallon with an electrical adapter. I’m pretty sure I’m going to love it just as much. Welcome Trashy II.

OK. So I’ve only had this automatic sensor trash can for 24 hours. Normally I wait a while before reviewing but let me share my experience so far. The Sensorcan arrived very securely packaged in a thick cardboard box surrounded by styrofoam. It was actually difficult to get it out of the box. The instruction manual was mostly pictorial. One small quibble: It didn’t clearly state that batteries (4 D cells) are not included. The main selling point of the Sensorcan is that it has an AC adapter. It is not meant for charging batteries but for operation. So while you can use batteries you cannot recharge them. And you must disconnect the AC adapter first before using the can with batteries. I purchased this Sensorcan because it can be used without batteries. This feature is a real plus and the main reason why I paid a bit more for the can. Batteries are a PIA. I bought this can to prevent our very active cat from getting in to steal “treasures.” Time will tell. Setting it up was easy and so far, the automatic close has worked flawlessly. I will post again if I need to but so far, I recommend this product due to the AC option.

So far, this sensor trash can seems to be a good purchase. It's 13 gallon but not quite as tall as my old Ninestars model. Came with a trash bag holder ring that's pretty flimsy so I used the old ring and it fits fine. The main feature that sold me was the A/C adapter instead of batteries. Most of these cans take 3-4 C or D batteries which wear out quickly with daily use. Another nice feature is the deodorizer filter. The box came with a postcard offering a free filter ($16.95 value). Sensor is the way to go, hands free. Nice, stainless steel item.
