They were great when I first got them. I used a few and then waited until I needed the others. 2 years later tried to put them on and I could not get them to lock closed, tried everything, hammer, channel locks, etc. Been a contractor all my life and they just won't lock in after time.

Bucket grips look nice but can't get them to snap together on bucket handle. Tried pliers, had my dad try too, he couldn't get them to snap in place either. Can't use if they won't stay together.

I used to cut pvc pipe for handle covers… but tha require bending the wire handle and taking it off of one end and sometime messing that up. These just snap onto the handle and you are done. I bought a bunch and have them on hand - I’ll use them.

This looks like it would be a good product, but parts were missing and the gate adapter doesn’t fit on my replacement tailgate hinge. It only works on the left side and that’s not made clear. A couple improvements and this could be a 5 star product. Make the screw hole on the gate adapter a slot and add a couple tabbed washers to hold it in place. Then it should work on most trucks.

They work great. As I haven't used any of the other available products I cannot offer any comparison info.The grip rotates on the bail and the seam between the two halves seems to always work itself into a vertical plane. I don't expect the halves to separate but it seems that I always have to rotate the grip so the seam between the two halves is in a horizontal plane.If I had looked at the halves more closely I would have realized that the fourth line of the instructions was missing the key directive "at each end". Originally I was squeezing the two halves together at the grip area of the grip. That did not result in the necessary click of locking tabs. Fortunately the examination I failed to execute before starting revealed that squeezing the grip area is a waste of effort. The ends of the grip halves are where the locking tabs are located and that is where firm pushing together must be performed.
