So I thought I was getting a stainless steel finish when I ordered the "Silver" option. It does say in the description "nano coating", though I thought it was refering to the black one only. So I can;t really say it wasn't as described, just a bit misleading, since the picture looks like metal finish, not painted. Aside from that, the actual build quality seems good, its heavy duty metal and thick enough that it should do its job just fine. I have no way of verifying if the metal is actually stainless steel or not though since it does have the coating on it, all around. One other reviewer mentioned drafts, this is not a sealing mail slot, so its true that if installed as directed into a space where you care about that, wind can come in from the outside. it does not seal completely. Where I am planning to use this, that won't be a problem, and I expected that going into it. You can see from the pictures that it probably doesn't seal well. For the price, it will do the job just fine as long as you are aware of the above consessions and are fine with it.

Major gaps to outside, non-standard size so hard to replace with something else once the door's been cut to install it. Learn from my fail.
