These worked well for cutting window openings in 15/32 plywood sheathing. Did 7 windows without any problems or breakage.

Got this to make trimming off sheetrock on window edges and doorways. I wanted a nice flush cut to the framing and thought I'd give this a try on a palm router. It worked a lot better than I expected! I sheetrock right over several windows, drilled a 5/8" hole with a paddle bit, grabbed the router with one of these bits. Put the bit through the hole and cut a nice smooth path through the sheetrock right up to the wood framing. The bearing on the end kept the bit from cutting into the wood and I then just followed around the cutout for the window. No need to pre-cut and rough out the window opening- just one zip around the 4 sides and the window was done. Does create a lot of sheetrock dust, so wear a mask and have a vacuum ready. Even with vacuum time, it's so much faster than measuring and cutting the sheetrock to the size of the window- the end results was a VERY smooth edge that was EXACTLY fit to the window opening. The doorways, I did rough out first.
