This single-conductor insulated boat wire uses Type III fine stranded copper wire and features a durable PVC jacket. Came on a spool like I hoped. Not labeled like in the pictures. Stiff but flexible at the same time. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time but seems like a good product for the price.

I don't know why it gives you a spooled option because it comes jumbled up in a bag and tape. The wire did work tho just a pain without spool

Product was not on spools as pictured but was wrapped all together with plastic. Red and black wires were mixed and difficult to separate. There were kinks in the wire as well (can be seen in lower part of photo). Have not tested the wire yet or verified the length. Length was also 6 inches shorter than advertised. Returned it.

Amazon warehouse only sent me a red spool (I ordered 100 ft red & 100 ft black 14 AWG). Amazon then referred me to Common Sense Marine. At first it was: "oh-oh. Here we go..." But then Michael of Common Sense Marine went out of his way to get it to me. He sent it priority mail (2 day) from the west coast. I am in Florida. I could not be more pleased---oh and by the way: the wire is perfectly tinned marine grade. Good quality! I'd give him 6 stars if possible!Cheers!

I have to pull like heck to strip this wire and a lot of the time it only partially strips. This could be because my wire stripers are ancient though. I think overall it's a good value.
