Install is straightforward with the kit since everything fit along my Softail's layout. The clutch and brake cables were exactly the length needed for my bars. My first test ride had no slack or pinching known along the routing, and the connection synced right away. I liked the silver finish from the rest of the controls.

This kit saved me a lot of hassle when I swapped out my handlebars for 16-inch apes on my 2017 Softail (no ABS). Everything was included—clutch cable, brake line, throttle, the whole shebang—and the wiring lengths were just right. I didn’t have to do any weird splicing or creative rerouting. If you’ve done any cable swaps before, you know how painful it can be to chase down parts one at a time, so having a full kit that actually fits was a relief.
