This hose is strong enough to avoid kinks, but is fairly supple and I would say is more flexible than most other hose. Fittings are able to be pressed in with relative ease and don't leak.

I got this to fit some quick-connect fittings I had and it's working well. It also fits connectors with screw on lock collars as well as all other 1/4" fittings I have tried with it so far. This is sort of a hybrid hose, somewhere in between the old stiff Rainbird or Orbit hose and the softer more rubbery hose that is too thick for quick connect fittings or screw on lock collars. So while it's not stiff enough to stand up on its own, it will fit 1/4" fittings of pretty much all types and it can usually be pushed onto barbs without doing the hot-water routine. It is thin, but stretchy and durable. So far I have had no issues with it. It might be prone to kinking if you try to make tight bends or have too much slack somewhere, but it can be avoided. I keep my 1/4" runs very short or very direct, so I've had no problems. Time will tell if it gets stiff or weakens after being outdoors for a season.

I ordered this to use in my raised bed gardens. I have four beds and wanted to run a zone to each bed. This required quite a bit of the 1/4 inch hose to run down, through and back up the 4 x 8 foot beds. This product provided a large amount of hose at a great price. I should be set for a few seasons. The hose connected very well to all of my drip heads, splitters and my connector that connected it to my main 1/2 inch line coming from the water spigot. They were all rainbird brand. The tubing is very flexible and has been in use for about a month. I have no leaks and it is holding up great with the HOT south Texas sun.

I'm a gardener and I've set up several sprinkling systems, one thing I didn't realize is how much I will be going through the irrigation tubing. This 200ft tubing has saved me a lot of headache this summer. It is all high quality tubing, holds up to pressure with zero issues and fits all of my irrigation which is a huge benefit. Given how much material there is, I have been able to adjust all of my sprinklers to be exactly where I want them with extra tubing to spare.

First, I would like to say that there might be a very limited use for this product. I live in a region where it gets very hot in the summer (when I would most need to be able to use this product) and I will be using it outside in a flowerbed that is often exposed to direct sunlight. Therefore, I tested this hose by subjecting it to what is to my estimation a reasonable workload which is that it is under the same pressure that my other tubing/hose handles and that it do so in the same way (which is that I have valves to turn off portions of the irrigation area without turning off the water at the faucet and the other 1/4 tubing handles it just fine). The problem is that I set a timer to check it every 15 minutes and about 16 minutes in a brand-new piece of tubing bust. Some of you might think that it is unfair to assume that it should handle regular pressures but as I said my other 1/4 tubing handles it just fine without any issues and has done so for about a year. I bought this to extend my irrigation system but if I cannot use it in sunlight or under pressure it is not a product that I would use for a drip irrigation system. For the purpose of drip irrigation, I cannot recommend this product.

This tubing is much more supple than the standard 1/4 line that I am used to. It was a little irritating to use when sliding it onto barbed connectors - it does fit standard 1/4 inch connectors - because it bends and wobbles back and forth so easily. It's doable, though, and holds tight. I don't know if that extra bendiness will have a real effect. It bends easier so I suppose it could kink more easily, too. I also wonder if it will deform more easily. A real-life example: sometimes I want to adjust where my lines are headed but can't be bothered to go get an irrigation staple. More likely, I'll grab the closest rock and use it to secure the line. With this soft and squishy line, that might not be a good plan. Lastly, time will tell how this plastic holds up to sun exposure. Anyway, I'm trying it out, but I won't use it in areas that are a real pain to set up - like potted plants where I'm running the line up through the pots - as I want to know whether this will last before I commit that kind of time.

I ordered this to run some drip irrigation to my blueberries this summer. Since I have never used this type of drip irrigation it turns out that you need other sizes beside just the 1/4 inch tubing as it is meant to be at the very end of a multi line drip port. This tubing is very flexible and bends really easy without kinking. It does not tear easily either which is a plus. There is 200 feet of tubing as described.Overall, happy with this order but I should have done a little more research first. I will end up using this hose but had to make a lot of adapters to use it by itself. If you are just looking for 1/4" hose then this will work for you.
