How to use?
Note: Please use the cutter to cut the pipe flat
1. If used on coffee machines, water dispensers, reverse osmosis water filter system etc
(1) Installation is as easy as drilling a small hole in the container, sliding the float in and attaching using the connect fittings
(2) To remove, simply push in the outer ring at each end and pull straight out. You need to make sure the tubing is cut squared to insure no leaks
2. If used for patio, pond, fountain, dog water bowl, livestock water trough, etc
(1) Establish water source, push in drip hose 1/4" into coupling
(2) Insert the other 1/4" end of the drip hose into the hose connection
(3)Place the float assembly into the fountain basin, keeping the assembly level

Right from the start float valve does not shut off. Even when bulb is fully submersed to still has flow.

This installed easily and works well, Did exactly what it was intended to do. I am happy with this kit.

I was expecting this to be a better value at a cost of $40. This kit has a significant amount of plastic and it feels really fragile. For my use-case, I am trying to install it as a plant watering system in our basement. Unfortunately, I just cannot bring myself to use it long term as I worry the connectors will give out and will result in a flooded basement. You might have a different situation where you don't have these concerns but for these reasons I can only rate the product at 2 stars as it really should not be more than about $10 or so.

The tubing and connectors are fine, but the main reason for this product, to cut flow at a certain level, is horrible. It reduces the flow, but does not stop it, leading to overflowing. In a fountain outside where I'm using it no big deal, but if used inside and not closely monitored forget it. Others have also commented on this issue. I have ordered a replacement, so I will see how that works out.
