About this item

  • Choosing the right equipment for your projects plays a significant role in the quality of your work. With band saws it is equally important to choose the right parts and accessories to make your machine run smoothly and without issue. Whether you’re a carpenter, contractor or even a skilled craftsman, your band saw is one machine that you need to run smooth and true.
  • From improved performance and safety to reduced downtime, urethane band saw tires provide many advantages over factory tires and rubber or plastic replacement tires. Urethane band saw tires most certainly outlast rubber band saw tires and plastic band saw tires. Urethane band saw tires will not dry rot like rubber or plastic tires. This alone provides you with an exceptional value over other types of band saw tires.
  • Another advantage of urethane tires over rubber is that no adhesive is needed for proper installation. Urethane tires can be stretched to fit and are specifically designed to stay in place without any type of adhesive. This makes these tires even easier to install and even easier to remove if necessary.
  • Whether you’re setting up a new saw or replacing the tires on an old saw, the urethane tire installation process is quicker and easier for increased productivity and efficiency. All of this improves blade tracking and extends the life of your blade. Not only that, the tires are bright orange, which makes them super easy to inspect and they come with a lifetime warranty on the welds.
  • This is a two tire set of Quality Urethane Band Saw Tires 14″ diameter x 1″ wide x .095″. They are designed to be installed on any 14″ band saw that requires a 1″ wide and 3/32″ thick tire. The actual wheel diameter can be 13-1/2″ to 14-1/2″ in diameter. Made in the USA and can be trimmed to fit if needed.

Best bands I have ever put on the bandsaw. Hard to put on but well worth the effort.

Great tire. Install was pretty easy with help from another set of hands. It took longer to get the old contact cement off than it took putting on the new tire. Fit perfect on a Jet 14" bandsaw.Once installed blade ran true with no blade hop or run out. Highly recommend.

They were easy to install and did a decent job but where the band mates to complete the circle there is a slight bump and when installed the blade tracks over that bump. When the bandsaw wheel rotates you can see and feel the slight lift when the blade is tracking. Even though this is ever so slight and doesnt necessarily make errors in the cut, I preferred there not be that bump. I switch to another manufacturer and am more satisfied as the bands are consistent and smooth at the bands mating section. I typically use the vibration method for tensioning my blades and while watching for the blade, it was then this slight bump was most apparent. Cuts are still fine but I prefer smoother connected bands at their joint.

These tires fit my 14"Delta/Rockwell bandsaw really well and are on both wheels quite tightly. They have made a good difference in operation of the saw and I will buy these again someday when they need to be replaced. The price was very reasonable, the quality great, and made in the USA. I am very happy with my purchase!

I increased the hp from .5 to 1.5 and rpm from 1725 to 2500 with a new motor and inverter on my old Rockwell 14” saw and couldn’t keep rubber tires on it these are relatively easy to install and work perfectly no issues with the increased hp or speed

I like these so far. I was worried because the material didn't feel or look the same as my last pair of urethane tires. I warmed them in water like the videos on You Tube suggests, (which in hindsight the directions said you don't have to) they installed very easily. I thought they might slip because they seemed a little loose but they are working fine so far. I only gave 4 stars for longevity since I haven't used them very long yet.

After some work and some sweat, the belts fit perfectly onto the bandsaw. Following the instructions, I prestretched the belts by hooking one end over the handle on my bench vise and pulled, rotated the belt a few inches and pulled again, repeating until I had completed stretching in a full loop. It was still a very tight fit, but using a few spring clamps and a couple round pieces of bar stock it finally slipped into place. Using the bar stock, I had to go around the front edge of the wheels to push the belt level with the top surface of the wheels. The color of the belts should assist greatly in making sure the blade is tracking correctly on the wheels.

Installed these on my Jet 14” bandsaw. Pit perfectly. Very precise to the width and diameter of the wheel. Takes some effort to install due to this precision but worked perfect. Resolved my tire slipping issues and saw tracks exactly now. I will purchase these again the next time I need to replace them, probably 5 years.

Easy to install. No boiling needed, just get the tire warm with hot water from the tap.I removed the wheel and mounted it flat on my workbench using a screw and a washer. This held it firm but allowed it to turn as needed. I slipped the tire over the wheel as far as it would go and then placed two small spring clamps to hold that in place, spacing one at each side. I then used a 1/2" dowel about a foot long, slid it under the tire and working my way around slowly, but pulling hard, the tire slid into place. After carefully removing the dowel I used it to press the tire down into the recess. At first it looked like the tire was too wide and would require trimming, but that wasn't necessary in my case. It nestled into the recess and butted up to the rim at each side perfectly, I just went slowly. I mounted the wheel and spun it to check for high spots and used the dowel to press those down. After reassembly it runs smooth and true.

Some reviews noted a need to trim for the Jet or that the tire didn't fit in the channel. If you just hold the tire to the channel, it is a hair wider and you might be concerned. However once stretched around the whole wheel, that extra width is gone and it fits just fine. You might need to pinch down the last few inches by hand but the stretch makes the belt narrower (as it should) and the result is a perfect fit.Definitely pull the wheels from the saw to install the new tires. That lets you clamp the wheel to the bench and use spring clamps to hold things in place while you work the screwdrivers or tire irons to stretch it over. I let mine sit in the sun for about 30 minutes to relax them and they went on without any undue fuss. It's definitely quieter than the old rubber tires, but those were pretty shot on my saw. Use this as an opportunity to re-tune your bandsaw.

Installed on my JWBS-14CS without much difficulty. Appears to be decent quality and expect it to last for many years. Old black factory tire lasted for about 10 years making lots of cuts and then suddenly became stretched out such that it ran right off top wheel and became too big to grip it. I've always released tension from the blade when not in use, usually use 1/4" and 1/2" blades, so guess that the old tire simply had exceeded its life expectancy/material life.
