Very durable and the first one lasted for years outside under the gazebo.One is to move the smoke from the bbq away from the house and guestsThe second is to cool off guests. We added more seating. 'Twas a no brainer to buy another and a spare incase they stop making them

When fan was remove from the box all the screws were missing and the motor was just dangling loose in the fan housing. Had to go to hardware store and find metric screws , washers, and locknuts. the front of the housing had to be removed to put motor bolts in housing. Half hour job. Very bad quality control.
