They're great . Been pulling 2000 lb logs with a bobcat and chain over hard rocky trails . This is beyond what they're made for . Pulled 16 foot , 20 inch beech and cherry out of the woods, up to my cabin . It took that toslightly deform the threaded pin . It still came out and still works but the slight bend made it not soeasy to connect and disconnect from logs . This means they can take a beating, far beyond what they'respec'd for . I think they only bent when the nose of the log caught on a protruding rock in the road. Thisjoly likely put double or triple the load on the clevis . These things are good . Put a little NoAlox or OxGard on the threads if leaving outdoors . My experience with amazon stainless is sometimes the stainless is not the best . It can develop slight rust , quicker than high dollar stainless hardware . These are about a buck a piece so cant complain . These didnt rust but i havent had this particular one outdoors long . This is just my general experience with amazon stainless hardware .
