The 14-piece wire wheel set for a 4 1/2" angle grinder is a great value for tackling rust, corrosion, and paint removal jobs. I’ve used a few of the brushes so far, and they fit well on my grinder and hold up nicely under pressure. The coarse crimped wire does a solid job of stripping down surfaces quickly without falling apart. The variety in shapes and sizes makes it easy to get into tight spots or cover larger areas, depending on the task. A practical set to have in the shop for restoration or surface prep work.

I received this 14-piece Angle Grinder Wire Wheel set, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and performance. Whether you’ve got a proper grinder or, like me, an adapter for your drill, this set is a must-have in your toolbox—especially if you’re tackling rust or doing regular metal maintenance.The set includes a great variety of sizes: 3-inch and 4-inch, both in crimped and knotted wire, and each one feels incredibly sturdy and well made. The carbon steel construction and internal holding plates give them a solid, durable feel that can definitely handle heavy-duty jobs. I’ve already put a couple of the brushes to work on the frame rust of my '04 Jeep Wrangler, and I plan to do the same on my '08 Commander and '92 Cherokee Limited. So far, they’ve been eating through the surface rust like a champ without breaking down or fraying.What’s really impressive is how balanced they are once attached. With my drill adapter, there was no wobble or weird vibration, and they spun up smoothly. That said, I followed the recommendation to let it idle for a minute after attaching—always a good safety check. Definitely wear your safety gear like goggles and gloves—these brushes mean business.Depending on how frequently you use them, I can see this set lasting for years. They don’t wear out quickly, and the bristles stay in shape surprisingly well after some extended use. The MAX RPM of 12,500 is more than enough power for most jobs, whether you’re stripping paint, cleaning up weld spatter, or prepping for a fresh coat of underbody protection.Overall, if you do any kind of rust removal, welding cleanup, or surface prep, this set is a fantastic addition to your tool arsenal. It’s well built, covers all the sizes you’d need, and is just incredibly effective. I highly recommend it for any DIYer, metal fabricator, or off-roader working on older rigs.

This is a good set of wire brushes for the grinder. However, it's a little misleading because while the product description says it's for a 4 1/2" grinder which is true, the wheels are only 4" in diameter, and the cupped wheels are only 3" in diameter. They hold up fine, and are what you'd expect as far as performance, but I wasn't paying close enough attention and was a little disappointed to see that the cupped wheels were small, especially for the price. It's a decent set of wire wheels though, and if the price is good for you, I'd go ahead and get them.
