I recently bought a John Deere 45 loader but it did not come with the attachment bar for my John Deere X485 tractor which is no longer available from the dealership so I decided to make my own. After looking at many online photos and videos and talking many measurements I ordered this bar and some 1/4 plates from Amazon. This bar was a perfect fit for the opening in my frame and I quickly had a functioning attachment point for the loader. I reinforced the tube with inside gussets at both ends attachment points of the loader. It has held up well after 6 hours of digging in the ground and moving boulders. This comes with a protective coating that did not come off with my sanders, I had to use the grinder to get a good weld. Very happy with this purchase.
