No need drainage? This thing fills with water and needs to be drained 3-4 times a day. I’ve bought several portable AC units over the years and have never experienced anything like this before. It does cool the room nicely but the water issue is a huge pain. The remote that comes with it is awful too. You basically have to be close up right in front of the unit for it to work and it is so small/flat I’m just waiting for it to get lost. It’s also anything but quiet. Maybe I just got a dud?

Worked for one day then locked up. Customer service promised someone would contact me to help but they never did.

It's a nice AC unit and cools well. It could be quieter but it's normal enough. It's about 3 feet from my TV and 4" from me. I have to turn the volume from 20 up to 27. Mine's branded as a Garvee CF14. Walmart has it unbranded for $378.99. Garvee has it for $424.99 and the Acekool store on Amazon has the same one for $399.99. This one's a great price but if you can pay more try to get one with a noise level under 40db.
